She listened to my heart to see what was most important to me, what the space was being used for, and how the renovations would be best for my family. She even included my great grandma's hope chest and my precious plants. lol. She also wasn't done once I had the designs. she helped me find the pieces that that would help us complete the space. “Mary Dixon redecorated a dining room and a bedroom for me. With the exception of eight dining room chairs, it was a complete redecorating job from the ground up. I had searched and searched for a decorator to do the complete job. What I came across over and over again were decorators who simply wanted to sell me big-ticket items and then disappear when it came time to accessorize, paint, hang curtains etc.. Mary worked hard to determine exactly what it was that I wanted. Many times Mary said, "I don't want you to like it, I want you to love it". Mission accomplished. I left my old bedroom ( new paint and wallpaper were in place) on a Wednesday morning and when I returned that evening - TA DA! The big reveal! Everything thing was finished plus a few little surprises. It was stunning! The dinning room was just as beautiful. It was part of a great-room and she made it flow perfectly.
