“Sarah did an amazing job helping us with our basement renovation. We have a small space with some constraints from the original construction of the house, and Sarah nonetheless managed to create a bright and open space that doesn't feel like a basement at all. She also gave us different options at various price points for furniture, and when we wanted some modifications, she quickly turned those around and met ours needs perfectly. If we ever have another home renovation project, we'd absolutely go back to Sarah for our design needs.”

“Terrific from start to finish! HFD was able to able to update our tired kitchen and family room. Made it beautiful as well as functional (I Love to cook and finally have a kitchen that "works"!) Lots of options in terms of pricing - Alicia always presented 3-4 possibilities for each piece we bought that covered a range in pricing. She was professional and knowledgeable and frankly easy to communicate with. She is connected with some terrific suppliers - we got the stone that everyone else wanted!!!! She has great vision and can make it happen!”

“We worked with Parkyn Design on our new home build. Soon after our architectural plans were done, we got Tania Parkyn and her team involved in the process. This timing was paramount to them understanding our big vision. Three things stand out from our work with Parkyn Design. First, one of the biggest strengths Tania demonstrated was her ability to really listen and understand what we wanted. She really did hear everything we said: our ideas, our dreams, our likes, our dislikes. We saw proof of this in the end results when our home seemed to fit us like a glove. Second, Tania’s experience ensured that our home would be timeless, yet incredibly unique and personal to us. Because Parkyn Design is current with trends and ahead of the curve on what’s coming, we were introduced to new products and materials which made the choices for everything both practical and leading edge. Finally, as first time homebuilders, the process of building, designing and decorating a home can be very intimidating. Parkyn Design made this process fun and enjoyable. Tania and her team brought such excitement and passion to our job! Sometimes it was hard to tell who was more excited - them or us! Overall, this is a top-notch design studio. “I would like to thank you for taking the time to help us work through room by room in our new home. Alex was reliable and completed designs, changes, and incorporated our suggestions efficiently. Some of the projects we started with were paint colors, room decoration ideas, wall décor and art placement. Alex suggested painting the space/wall above our mantel to create the illusion of a more grand fireplace and we love it! We also purchased a large mural to go our dining room wall as suggested and guests have complimented the artwork. We then decided to take on the kitchen full gut renovation during the Christmas season. Alex was available to do home visits, answer questions despite it being a very busy time of year. Alex provided us with a number of samples and worked within the types of cabinets we were willing to purchase due to budget. The highlights of our kitchen include a custom oak rangehood, oak open shelving in our island, copper lighting and accents, a 11 foot island and many cabinets to store all of our kitchen items. We worked with Alex to choose fixtures that would work and her honest opinion left us with a glamorous kitchen design! Looking forward to moving into the other rooms to choose wall art, accent walls, and hearing Alex’s suggestions to make our home even more beautiful.”

“Rebecca, RacK Design was amazing to work with! I run a not-for-profit business that need a lot of work for not a huge budget. She was amazing at coming up with ideas outside of the box, brought the building into 2020 with respecting its historical charm and was hands on through the process. I look forward to working with her again.”

“I have been working with Francesca Design for a few years and on a variety of projects. Just recently we just collaborated on a complicated full house renovation. The project was quite extensive and multi-faceted. Francesca provided all the design and decorating recommendations and the project turned out fantastic and the client was thrilled with the result. She has a keen eye for design & the clients trust her completely with all her suggestions. Everything she suggests ends up looking fabulous and customers leave incredibly happy & glad they chose such a knowledgeable interior designer. I look forward to working with her every time since the project always runs smoothly and efficiently.”
