“I had a pending job opportunity in DC area and came across basement property that would be ready by the time I would need it (3 months later). I viewed property in construction phase and could not see it as a place I'd want to live, let alone be ready in three months. I was so wrong and so blown away! The tiny basement apartment looked roomy and had a zen flow post construction. Amazing design!”

“We engaged Danziger Design LLC as our overall project management team for renovation design consultation and interior design. Wendy Danziger is a 25-year veteran with a distinguished track record for creativity in specialized design projects, both large and small, both residential and commercial. She has vision. She's extraordinary in understanding her client's needs and preferences while bringing ideas and solutions that are within budget and efficiently implemented. She has developed kitchen, bathroom, bedroom and living room designs for us that brought a cohesive look to our entire home. Her use of color is exceptional and the coordination of rugs, textiles and artwork was brought together with a keen eye and understanding of our preferences. Wendy's thoughtful and cooperative relationship with builder, electrical, painting, furniture and textile specialists enables her to synchronize an interior design project efficiently to get the job done with minimal distruption to occupants. Together with the seasoning, skills and expertise noted above, Wendy is unique among design consultants in that she actively listens to the client to develop a plan/budget to suit - as opposed to many other designers who seem to want to focus on their own preferred aproach regardless of the client's needs. “Moved into a two bedroom, two bath apartment. Before moving in the colors for the walls were chosen and painting done, draperies ordered and the additional furniture we wanted ordered. M.S. Vicas Interiors were professional, sensitive to our ages, and available. Small changes we wanted to make were handled easily. It was a good experience in all respects.”

“Kimberly helped us select art for our apartment. She has a very good eye and is well connected to artists and galleries. She was extremely respectful of our taste and preferences and never pushy. She was very prompt and provided us with many options. She also introduced me to her framer and hung the art for us. She is a pleasure to work with.”

“We worked with StorieCollective for a remote design of the open concept living/dining area of our Capitol Hill home. Sara was fantastic to work with and we were so pleased with the ease of the design process as well as the result. Our space had its challenges but she came up with an excellent floor plan that used the space in a smarter way than we would have come up with on our own. We were keeping a few existing pieces of furniture and the other design choices that Sara made worked well with what we already had. Sara was very easy to collaborate with and her choices for our home were spot on. I loved the ease of the clickable shopping list and the ability to reference both the space plan and design concept. I’m so happy that we worked with StorieCollective- our space is absolutely more functional, beautiful and well curated as a result.”

“Ms. Saum provided us with ideas that were creative and innovative. Her plans included things that we never would have considered. Her selections (countertops, fixtures, appliances and floor coverings) included a range of price points from which to choose. The results were stunning! With Ms. Saum's help, I am confident that she saved us from making costly mistakes. Her workmen (electricians, plumbers, painters, tile and carpet installers) were all professional and did an excellent job as well.”

“Any time someone compliments a whole room in my house, a framed print, accent pieces, even the color of a wall, I say, "Thank you! Kyra/First District Designs did that!" Kyra made beautiful things happen while staying within my budget. She really listened to the overall mood, tone, and effect that I was trying to achieve and made it all happen. She incorporated/worked with so many of our existing pieces of furniture, arranging them in fresh and more interesting ways, and added just the right amount of extra touches as needed. I can't say enough good things. The woman has an amazing eye for great design, and sources pieces that are made well so that they withstand the test of both children (and pets)!”

“Lisa helped us with our 2016 house renovation including a major bath overhaul, full kitchen remodel, new floors, lighting, laundry, mud room, etc. She jumped in about midway through the project and worked within our budget and style preferences. She sourced several items that we couldn't find on our own and advised on alternative options when what we liked didn't exactly fit our budget. She's highly knowledgeable, a good listener, and has a great eye. We're very pleased with the outcome of her design work!”
