My wife and I had utilized every profession and craft wizard as we maneuvered our way thru a massive, total, complete and life changing remodel of our master bedroom/bathroom suite. However, the 99% of cost, dust, angst and worry would've been meaningless if not for their final touches. Our furniture, new flooring, and freshly painted walls had to stay but we gave them free reign beyond that. A few visits later they asked us to "go away for a few hours" and we returned to a reveal that we still marvel at all these months later. Simply put, not only would we have screwed it up had we tried to it ourselves, but we'd probably still be searching for something because we know that something needs to go there but we don't know what that something is. We can't wait to embark on our next project and once again let them spin their magic throughout our home.”

“Randy searched me out for the rare furniture genre I make and that she envisioned for a recent project: redesign of the lobby of an architecturally and historically prominent hotel in Portsmouth. The lobby has an early 1900's fireplace with a 48 inch brass horseshoe sculpture and English horse scenes in relief in the terracotta walls that frame it. I make English club fender fireplace benches. Among designers I know, Randy has an exceptional depth of knowledge of the style and function of club fenders. In this case our collaboration added seating that celebrates the artistry and English influences in the fireplace, and the coziness and intimacy of a club fender on the hearth complements the more formal conversational areas of the lobby. Interior design should blend historical relevance, beauty and function. Randy's design does this.”

“Ann and David Sargent are experienced, highly sophisticated and elegant designers. I first met Ann 20 years ago, when she helped me decorate and renovate a new home in The Upper Valley of NH. Then she expertly helped me reuse the furniture, draperies and oriental rugs in subsequent moves to PA, CT and now back to the Upper Valley--adding pieces only sparingly and refashioning the draperies to fit new window configurations. In addition, both Ann and David helped us redesign a NY apartment which we bought 10 years ago. David-- a specialist In efficient, imaginative use of space--designed a floor plan beyond our wildest dreams and oversaw the building contractor. Everyone who comes to the apartment asks for his name. Ann did her splendid decorating, but also exercised her significant expertise not just in the cosmetics of everything but in understanding structural and/or mechanical features important to the ultimate results. These two are the best.”

“Judy Elliott has a wonderful creative eye and beautiful design aesthetic. She is now working on the third design project for us. She created a spectacular Vermont themed new bath which is cool, contemporary and used all Vermont based materials including Vermont slate, Danby marble, river rock, and Vermont artisans. She also designed a perfect family room working with existing dark, old barn board which resulted in a very comfortable, bright, and pretty room with a touch of whimsy. She has come up with a creative design solution for our master bedroom which will result in privacy for an open space and a cohesive, attractive theme. Judy is so easy to work with - she is flexible, deadline oriented, and fun!”
