“If you are interested in transforming your kitchen (or any room) into a magazine quality design, hire Lisa Hincher/The Good Home as your designer/project manager. We began working with Lisa on a master bedroom decorating and bathroom renovation project. We were so pleased and delighted with her work that we decided to hire her to orchestrate a major kitchen renovation. She connected us with the very best contractors/custom woodworkers and brought to life ideas that we would never have thought of or considered without her help. She made a complicated and very in-depth process seem effortless. In three months of working with her she *never once* dropped the ball and exceeded our expectations time and time again. Her connections in the industry are invaluable. We have heard so many negative stories about contractors but the people that Lisa brought to this project were the most hard-working and reliable individuals that we have ever encountered in this field. The end result is a truly breathtaking space that we enjoy greatly. I feel confident in recommending Lisa wholeheartedly. “We have worked with Penelope Daborn Ltd. on several occasions. We are always pleased with the results. Penny has helped in choosing colors, fabrics and drapes. We recently built a new porch and we had seen a sofa we liked in a magazine. Penny helped to design the piece to be built. In addition she helped with the spatial arrangement of the room, the selection of fabric and window coverings and additional furnishings. We originally worked with Penelope Daborn Ltd. 7 years ago when we moved to a new house. We always come back for her expert eye, wealth of knowledge and the top notch coordination in making the arrangements for acquiring what we need.”

“During the summer of 2014, we remodeled a 1940's Cape in Wellesley, MA. The biggest part of the project was a complete kitchen and master bath gut renovation. Teresa designed the kitchen layout, specified the cabinets, hardware, counters, backsplash, lighting and created a paint schedule for the entire house. Her creative choices in finishes were exactly what we liked in traditional kitchen and bath design. She worked closely with our architect and general contractor to ensure the project came together flawlessly, on time and under budget. I have known Teresa since high school and thoroughly endorse her both personally and professionally. I would highly recommend her services and look forward to the opportunity to work with her again.”

“Amy redid my family room and addressed the issues we had with the old styling beautifully! The curtains she designed are gorgeous and allow total privacy and sound muffling while giving the appearance of a fabric wall. Amy also convinced us to save money by keeping the rug we had! And, her handmade throw pillows are beautiful and allow everyone to get comfortable!! I would definitely hire Amy again!”
