“We had a very difficult room to furnish, with odd proportions. Out taste is contemporary, but the house was built in 1923. Beverly was amazing! She quickly solved all our design dilemmas and created a space that we truly love. She is a true talent; able to listen to what clients want, and come up with design that goes beyond expectation. I would recommend her to anyone with large or small design jobs.”

“Crimson Design did the interiors for my living room and my daughter's bedroom in 2011 and since then has furnished my study this year. Micah and her Staff are very professional and knowledgeable and listen to what you would like done. They then use their expertise to incorporate a lot of what you requested but put their professional touch into the design. I would highly recommend Crimson Design. They are a pleasure to work with.”

“JoJo helped me select furniture for my formal living space. There were several things I wanted--a place for books and a desk, as well as seating. I was very happy with the way she helped me divide up the long room. She offered us 3 furniture options, and we picked the one that best matched our style. There was absolutely no pressure, but she did help us move the project forward and saved us time furniture shopping. If we'd tried to do it on our own, it would have taken ages, and we just don't have that kind of time, AND we would have ended up with furniture that would quickly look dated. The look she gave us was midcentury modern, and it goes great with our home. We are extremely happy with the final product and with her reasonable rates. There were no surprise expenses. We understood the costs at every step of the way, and JoJo kept everything within the budget and offered affordable options at every step.”

“I contacted Mary on the recommendation of a colleague shortly after I arrived in Houston in 2006. We worked together for almost four years, until I left Houston in 2011. During that time she helped me furnish and redecorate the house that we purchased. Mary was delightful to work with. She is knowledgeable and creative. She understood my own design sense, which coming from Melbourne, Australia, was a bit different to what is common in Houston, and she adapted her own style. She had lots of great ideas and challenged me at the right moments. Her expertise ranged from sitting on the floor together with yarn samples designing a custom rug together, to visiting art galleries and choosing art work, to offering me great furniture ideas to ponder over. She also pushed her suppliers hard and called in a number of favours to help me get last minute items in time for our move back to Australia. We keep in touch and I count her among my friends. I would have no hesitation in recommending her to any prospective clients. Liane”

“Missy is a color genius--I recently purchased a highly contemporary town house in North Montrose which, as expected, was very stark, edgy and white. Although the majority of my rooms remain this way (by design), I did need to add some interest in certain rooms using color whilst co-ordinating with the remainder of my contemporary furniture. Missy assisted me with color advice and selection in four separate areas: my bedroom, dining room, powder room, and office. In all cases, she spent a significant amount of time with me to understand my personality, and then assisted me with color selection, including gently guiding me (effectively by "giving me permission") to go with my personality and select a more "out there" color than I originally was thinking about. For my personality, she realized that I would feel most comfortable with a funky chocolate brown (one wall in dining area), funky orange (powder room), citriline (office), and a very muted gray/brown (master bedroom and bathroom). I am extremely pleased that she gently guided me in this direction, and I couldn't recommend her more highly. Thank you Missy!”

“I can’t say enough about Alison’s dedication to her clients. She goes above and beyond and in this industry, that’s what you need. I am a local builder in the Houston/Galveston area and I hire Alison for the majority of my spec and customs homes. I also hire her for our commercial projects and she is the designer for all of our remodels. It’s comforting to know that when we bring her on a job, she’s going to make our clients feel safe and comfortable all while attending to their needs and questions. Attention to detail is her top priority and that makes my job so much easier. She is a breeze to work with and our collaborations always turn out incredible! “I hired Simply Elegant Interiors in March 2014. I wanted faux iron above the fireplace. Robyn came to my home and explained what the process was in ordering and installing the Faux Iron. She brought samples of the Faux Iron, and after the area was measured the order was placed. My Faux Iron was delivered and installed in the exact time she said it would be and my piece was beautiful. While in my home, Robyn gave me decorating ideas for my kitchen, which I have put into place. I Highly recommend Simply Elegant Interiors and would definitely use her again.”
