“Since purchasing a second home in Vermont several years ago, Mary Jo has done a phenomenal job putting together great finishing touches as well as doing a complete design and decoration of our basement! We absolutely love it!! What I appreciate most about Mary Jo is her ability to proactively seek out options and keep our projects moving forward even though we are not in the same state. She sends us samples and puts together a completed vision board so we always know where we are headed and what the final look will come out like. I personally like taking a very hands-on approach to these types of projects and Mary Jo has been extremely willing to participate in the collaborative nature of that process. I also appreciate The combination of quality and affordability that Mary Jo is able to source in the vendors she chooses. Mary Jo has great ideas and is very talented. She is brace in her use of color, texture and pattern while not going over the top. Mary Jo has been excellent to work and any issues were dealt with promptly and professionally.”

“We worked with Larson at Chrisandras on the renovation of our ski condo in Okemo, Vermont. Larson was a joy to work with - great ideas and very sensitive to our tastes and views. “Decorative Interiors has worked with us for over 20 years. Their help has included not only furniture selection but also very complicated and extensive kitchen renovations and a complete restructuring/renovation of the first floor of our house and three bathrooms. Decorative interiors presented us with a new floor plan for the first floor of our house which presented an imaginative rethinking of our floor plan. Thereafter, Decorative Interiors supervised the construction which included a skilled and handsome mill work installation. “I recently retained this designer from Vermont to perform some significant upgrades/renovation of various rooms in our New Jersey home. We can't say enough about her professionalism, knowledge base in all aspects of design, and ability to get things done on time and budget with no surprises. This designer's ability to see the project from different elevations and scope while still being able to drill down to details when necessary and bring her elegant creativity to the project, is really second to none. She was a pleasure ot work with and we would highly recommend her to our family and friends-5 stars!”

“Our experience with Wild Madder Design was incredibly positive. We moved into a 1950's ranch/camp with an expectation of a full exterior and interior remodel. We interviewed a number of designers and contracted with Molly and Kate for a number of reasons - their vision matched ours, pricing was very affordable for the quality of their work and they were patient with the many questions we needed answered. They met every deadline and were flexible as we searched for a contractor and then discussed options with the one we chose. The initial contract included a whole house design to give us a sense of the overall feeling and goals for the home, an original and redesigned floor plan and material selection for a new roof, siding and windows. The first phase of our renovation is the full exterior and we plan to renovate the interior next year. While we wanted to maintain a sense of nature in the home (we live in a forested area), we also wanted exterior materials that were low-maintenance. Our biggest concern was finding a mix of materials that fit this goal without the house looking cookie-cutter. With Wild Madder's help, we found the right mix of black standing seam roof, white vinyl board and batten and fantastic windows to highlight the views we have from the home. We will post before and after pictures once the renovation is complete. The layout options they provided (three total) has set the stage for our future interior renovation which will include new flooring, redesigning the master suite (including the removal of a wall, creation of a new hallway and relocating the current bathroom), new kitchen and extending the current living area into an enclosed porch. We would highly recommend Wild Madder Design for both interior and exterior design.”
