“Small, independent interior design firm whose focus is the wishes of the client. Gail Gross, the owner and proprietor, creates a focused environment by discussiion and interpretation of the client's perceptions and desires. Gail is particularly good at matching desires with deliverables. She has a unique way of probing and interpreting the client's goals and aspirations and interpreting them into expected deliverables. Experience in lighting design, fabrics, as well as an educator in interior design. Receptive to client input and also provides pointed feedback. Easy to work with, and professional business acumen. She has been instrumental in helping to develop a plan for encompassing my wishes in the overall remodel of my Center City condominium. She facilitates a customer focused implementation plan which could be immediate, or accomplished over time. Gail will not disappoint.”

“If you are interested in transforming your kitchen (or any room) into a magazine quality design, hire Lisa Hincher/The Good Home as your designer/project manager. We began working with Lisa on a master bedroom decorating and bathroom renovation project. We were so pleased and delighted with her work that we decided to hire her to orchestrate a major kitchen renovation. She connected us with the very best contractors/custom woodworkers and brought to life ideas that we would never have thought of or considered without her help. She made a complicated and very in-depth process seem effortless. In three months of working with her she *never once* dropped the ball and exceeded our expectations time and time again. Her connections in the industry are invaluable. We have heard so many negative stories about contractors but the people that Lisa brought to this project were the most hard-working and reliable individuals that we have ever encountered in this field. “I worked with Tyler while building a new home over the summer. Bottomline Tyler is a creative genius. Her eye for design is unmatched in Maine. She is very easy to work with and I would recommend her to anyone building a house or remodeling their home. She has an in depth understanding of the construction process and that knowledge allows her to stay within your budget and meet all the timelines throughout the building process. She works hard to understand your style and incorporate pieces that reflect who you are and what will work in your home. If I were to ever build another home I would contact Tyler before I even looked at plans to come up with design ideas before the building process even starts! She is fantastic and I highly recommend her.”

“Samantha was wonderful! We needed help with bringing cohesiveness to our house as we were building it, and she did a fabulous job! She listened to what we had in mind and then came up with lots of options that were even better than we imagined. From tiles, hardware, and tubs to mirrors, vanities, and light fixtures, she was able to make everything go so beautifully together. She was great to work with- responded to questions quickly, had unique ideas, was easy-going, and helped us stay in budget! We would definitely use her again!”

“Karen is a top notch professional! She has an amazing sense of evaluating a space and knowing just what will work there. She has a natural sense of color and style. Karen is very attentive to details and always listens to what the client would like to accomplish and is very sensitive to budget. If you don't have a clear pitcher of what you end game is she will walk you through some design ideas and let you decide what works best for you. She is a creative genius quite frankly and a pleasure to work with. Very honest and genuine which is rare these days. “We had the good fortune of finding Marlon Mullon to do redesign work on our house. It was a unit of 15 years which we wished to modernize and upgrade. We gave Marlon basic parameters which he skillfully used to create a living space that beautifully reflected what we were looking for. His knowledge of materials blended easily together. His many solutions did well in bringing the finished unit together. We quickly learned that he was flexible and innovative so that the completed project fulfilled our desires of mixing old and new, functionality and harmony.
