“We bought our house in Atherton two years ago, and hired Paschal O'Reilly of PORI Interiors to decorate the entire house. He is an absolute dream to work with and I could not recommend him more highly. Not only is he extremely talented with a very good eye for proportion and color, but he also provides an exceptionally high level of customer service. In the past we've worked with a number of designers who can select beautiful pieces, but he's far and away the most organized and detail-oriented designer we've ever worked with. The process of working with him was easier than I could have imagined. Another quality I really admire about Paschal is his ability to mix high and low. We ended up choosing some high quality custom pieces, and also some great looking accent pieces from inexpensive retailers. He's not a design snob, and he can get excited about all beautiful pieces--whether they're expensive or not. Along those lines, he also helped me select fun and inexpensive pieces for my children's bedrooms and he understands that not everything needs to be high-end to look nice and function well. All around I simply couldn't recommend him more highly, and couldn't imagine a more positive working relationship.”

“My adult daughter and I moved from North Texas to South Reno last August during the supply chain challenge. After numerous delays in shipping and cancellations, I contacted Mindful Designs and Leslie Pence was assigned to our project! Leslie asked us to give her our main objective! Color was number one! No grays or neutrals for us! She quickly went to work to transform our apartment into a bright, energetic and very comfortable space! Her talent and professional attitude make her a joy !”

They listen to our clients needs and wants and fulfill this with a very creative and unique design. “We absolutely have enjoyed working with Jackie at Venue. I interviewed seven designers and am so thrilled with our choice!Jackie is thorough, pays attention to detail, channels our style perfectly and is easy to work with. She has been responsive to all emails and calls in a timely manner as well. We almost finished with the design phase and couldn't be happier with the design she has come up with; I know that we will love our kitchen! I cook ALL the time and it has been extremely important to me to have a very efficient and organized kitchen. Jackie has been incredibly patient with me as I painstakingly work my way through her ideas. I will update my review with photos and final impression once the project is done but I know we won't be disappointed. I look forward to using Jackie on future projects on my home. Giddy!”

“I initially found Chloe through her instagram account @boxwoodavenue. I could tell right away from her photos that she has impeccable taste and would be exactly who I needed to help bring my vision to life. She has helped me with several areas of my home including complete remodels of my kitchen and second bath and I am so thrilled with how they have turned out. She has also helped me with smaller jobs like design and furniture choices in my family room and office areas which have also turned out so beautifully. I love how she presents her designs which include 3-d renderings that make it easier to see how things will look when they are done. I wanted to be involved in the design process and she was so great about including me. When choosing finishes like faucets, tile, furniture, etc. she gave me a choice of 3 different options that would all work beautifully and then I could choose the one that I loved the most. She was so great at sourcing materials for me and even helped me get a quartz slab for the kitchen that I had fallen in love with, but that wasn't available locally. I would absolutely hire Chloe in the future for any of my design needs and would not hesitate to recommend her to friends and family. People constantly remark about how beautiful our house is when they visit and I know its thanks to her!”

“Leyla came out for a 2 hour consultation. My intent was to get ideas and colors for a dining room and bathroom. It was totally worth it because Leyla seems to instinctively know design. In her mind's eye she saw a round table where I had been considering to switch out my rectangular dining table for a round one but I hadn't even asked her yet. She pointed to me that of all the pictures I saved for her to see what style attracted me, my current decor did not reflect it, in color or style. Seems like a no brainer and yet I didn't see that until she showed me specifics. She pointed out things like wallpaper and paint meeting without an architectural break was a no no. I never liked the way it looked but didn't know why. She honestly pointed out that my kitchen was too dark, and that I should repaint the dark ceilings. Her manner is direct, honest and cheerfully friendly. I had a long list of questions and she addressed every one satisfactorily whether it was about draperies, wall colors or furnishings. I would hire Leyla again. Sorry no pictures yet. Because I'm acting as my own general contractor and doing a lot of the work myself it is taking longer than anticipated, perhaps I can attach a photo later on.”

“I would totally recommend using Alejandra Bernardez. She listened to what I like, then took the vision way beyond what I could have imagined. The glass cloth wall paper, custom designed headboard, and cozy reupholstered couch upped the quality. This room strikes a perfect balance. I will never have to redo this room. It is timeless. Thank you Alexandra.”

“Although it wasn't our first home purchase, and we had some experience renovating before, when we bought a large old historic home in need of serious renovations, we were overwhelmed! The project included a master bathroom, girls bath, powder room and kitchen. We hired Alison as our designer and never looked back. This was our first time using a professional designer and we were so happy that we did. It was just such a joy working with Alison, and thats when we realized how important it is not only to find someone that could really bring your vision/style into reality, but also someone that you enjoy working with and that made the process easy, fun and approachable. She helped guide us through the process, gave us great ideas, really listened to what we wanted/were looking for, and ultimately got us to a final result that we loved. We highly recommend Alison as a designer and would hire her again in the future.”
