“We have used Roberta for over ten years. She designed office layouts and found appropriate furniture for my business office. She has done many things in my home. We usually have a project every year. We are always happy with her work. She has great expertise in everything from colors fabrics, hard surfaces, window treatments, furniture and placement. Roberta is respectful of your wants and taste. She never pushes things on you. She has a gift for listening to what you are looking for and making it happen. I would highly recommend her.”

“I've worked with Jeanne at Fairfield on several projects including a huge kitchen remodel that spilled into the living room and hearth room. She handled it all! When I first saw her work at a friend's house I was so impressed with the look and feel. I have a very different style so I was apprehensive, thinking she was good at my friends style, but maybe not mine. She was extraordinary in quickly understanding my likes and dislikes. She knew when to push me to take a chance and when to let me "have my way" with choices and blended them beautifully together. Each time I work with Jeanne it is a joy because she looks at the big picture and makes it fun.”

“Karen was engaged to help plan and organize the great room of our new home. The room was larger than our previous living room, a different shape, and a complete different color scheme than we had. She helped with deciding which pieces of our current furniture would work, suggested pieces we might want to purchase (and offering suggestions of where we might shop), the layout of the room for best functionality and how to dress the walls. Karen’s warm and calm personality makes working with her very pleasurable. She asks clients to complete a form so she can learn their style, desired uses of rooms, etc. She carefully listens to her clients and then helps plan their spaces to best fit them. She willing works with her clients’ circumstances, acknowledging that sometimes they are not in a position to complete the design plan all at once. She offers several levels of service so clients are able to select what is right for them. Karen uses a wide variety of tools/sources to help her clients determine what they. She offers visual suggestions to help clients see possibilities. She does not push her own personal preferences, instead makes suggestions and moves forward based on her client’s likes and dislikes. She helped me think outside the box. Overall the experience has been very good and I look forward to the day when I have the entire plan in place in the not too distance future. I highly recommend using Karen Savage Design.”

“Sara helped turn a ho-hum great room into an interesting and inviting space. Sara combines her expertise with her customers personal style, so I feel like this room is now "me," only better that I could have done alone! The facts: took out old cold-looking fireplace tile and replaced with cultured stone, painted, recovered a few of my pieces of furniture, and bought a few new. Splurged on a painting by a local artist, updated lighting, drapes and accessories -- love it!”
