First, Donna listened carefully and unhurriedly to fully grasp our vision and hopes. She drew up differing options for the new layouts until we got it perfect. Even more, she then helped us with the hundreds of decisions we faced- faucets, tile, paint, furniture colors, etc. She never pushed a vision of her own and always sought to bring to reality the aesthetic we desired, including some very helpful "uhh...no. That won't work" comments that prevented us from making regrettable choices.
