“It was a great pleasure to work with Kimball. She carefully listened to what I wanted my place to look and feel like and listened to my ideas of how to bring that about. She had lots more great ideas, but wasn't pushy and did a great job of bringing together both style and my quirks! I have a few unique items from my past that I didn't think matched with much else, but Kimball integrated them beautifully with my new pieces. She knew lots of places for furniture and other items that I had never even heard of. She also knew lots of contractors ( who proved quite skillful), and kept me abreast of what was going on both schedule-wise and budgetwise. I would not hesitate to work with her again”

“Melanie designed my kitchen remodel. She patiently listened to my concerns and desires. Her first recommendation was to look at many kitchens on Houzz and add the ones I liked to an ideabook. This made it easy for me to see what style I wanted. Her design was wonderful. She opened up the space, and made the most of what we had. Melanie helped me with questions and problems throughout the remodel. Melanie made the process as smooth as possible. We love our new kitchen.”

“I hired Gamble Interior Design actually through associates that are in San Fransisco CA ,I called Jeni and she came down to Los Angeles to work on my 1927 Tudor revival, I was very interested in finding someone who would stay true to the era while modernizing my home at the same time. ,I was very impressed with her vision of the space and knowledge of the era and am extremely happy with her work! Phase 1 is complete ! Am am excited about starting phase 2 "the Kitchen" (yikes) ,at the end of the month, but I have to say I'm excited to see what inspiration she brings to the table !”

In particular, my Kreiss dining room set needed re-upholstering. I had put the project off for the longest time as could not make a decision on the design direction. Kim offered the ideal combination of patience and expertise to guide me in finding exactly what I wanted. The end result is a formal dining area that I love and fits my family's lifestyle perfectly. “Ariel has such a light hand and does everything with such ease! My partner and I were overwhelmed with trying to quickly furnish our new home and starting with almost nothing. I tend to overthink every decision, so I really needed help bringing together a cohesive design and be confident in our decision making. This was also at the time that everything was out of stock, and Ariel was able to source items that were almost all entirely in stock. Ariel really listened to the exact requirements we had for our unique space and made sure that each piece would fit just right, with an emphasis on quality and longevity. More importantly, she helped us be brave when it came to bold design decisions. A dark and moody dining space is not something we would have ever thought of on our own, let alone been confident enough to execute. It ended up being the most stylish corner in our home, has such a Chicago vibe, and continues to be the source of inspiration for or other design decisions. Ariel really helped us quickly get from zero (literally only a mattress on the floor) to fully furnished in a matter of a couple of months. We are still putting together finishing touches and decorative elements, and Ariel's online design resources are really helpful for that as well.”

“All of the work done by Peninsula Modern is clean, contemporary and uniquely designed. Every detail is examined and household decisions (such as using a cupboard used exclusively for coffee or what to do with extra space over a garage) are cleverly solved. I have worked with Tiffiny on a few projects and she is easy going and decisive, and the team she works with is the best at what they do. I would highly recommend Peninsula Modern.”
