I specialize in residential projects almost exclusively and all of my projects require attention to the details. Lauren has shown me that she has an incredible talent to think of the details and plan for them from the very beginning. “First of all if you know me, you know I love to decorate & entertain. After spending countless hours on pinterest & getting nowhere, I realized I needed to hire a professional. Once I hired Cesar Chavez Design a huge weight was lifted. I loved his existing work so I knew he could help me achieve the look I wanted. He quickly identified my style based on my inspiration images and came up with a design plan for my budget. It has been truly exciting to see my house transform into a beautiful home. I am amazed at the attention to detail Cesar has put into my house, every room flows together. Couldn't have done it without him. I could not recommend him more highly.”

“Very generous designer who made my tiny rental feel spacious and bright! So grateful for Jenn’s excellent list of recommendations she offered me within 24 hours after seeing my home. She helped me realize that my space doesn’t have to be or feel small by changing a few simple things such as, painting the interior, raising all the curtain rods to make my ceiling feel higher, layer cowhides on the cold tiled floor, moved my paintings around that made more sense to view, helped me find beautiful decorative pillows, dining table and chairs, and the most comfy modern chair and ottoman we all fight over to sit in and most importantly she suggested many choices to choose from to change out all the old dated light fixtures. I learned that investing in great curtains, sconces to lamp shades would be worth the investment since I can take them with me if and when I ever move. My home now feels spacious, fun and festive to visit and a whole lot bigger and brighter because I used every single one of Jenn’s innovative ideas. Loved her smart suggestions and felt she respected my small budget and made it work besides making my cozy place a place all my friends and family love to visit. France was responsive and provided project oversight to every step of the remodeling. She had high expectations for her subcontractors and ensured all aspects of the re-model went smoothly and were provided on time and within budget.”

“I can't say enough good things about working with Natasha. We downsized our home and I hated the small kitchen. I felt there was little we could do about it, Natasha's vision and design gave me the open kitchen of my dreams. It is beyond beautiful! She held our hands every step of the way. She also helped pull together furniture for us and helped us to redesign the mantle and bookcases to suit our needs. She recommended a wonderful contractor that was a pleasure to work with. Our project was finished on time and on budget. I would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone else. She did a fantastic job for us!”

“My husband and I worked with Rachel at Seldin Design Studios to decorate our first house. It felt like a pretty overwhelming task as we were starting from scratch and had a lot to do on a tight budget within a short time frame (we were expecting our first little one just 5 months after we moved in!). Rachel made the whole process so much easier and less stressful. She started by walking through the house with us and listening to what we hoped to create in each space. She then presented us with a meticulous portfolio with descriptions, drawings, and examples of everything we needed for each room and a breakdown of the cost. My husband and I have pretty different styles and Rachel did a wonderful job of listening to what was important to each of us. She managed to find pieces that we both like at the right price points, striking a nearly impossible balance of cozy and clean. She also introduced fresh colors and patterns, encouraging us to branch out and try new things. She was fast and efficient and did an amazing job of staying within our budget (unheard of in interior design, apparently!). She was incredibly organized and proactive, always following up with vendors and giving us a heads up if there was a delay or other issue with a product we had ordered. We were very indecisive at times and she worked tirelessly and patiently with us the whole way through. Rachel is clearly passionate about her work and always went above and beyond. We are so very grateful to her for helping us create a lovely home.”

“We first met Steve Marraffino several years ago when we were staging our house for sale. We were very impressed with his abilities styling our large 19th Century Dutch Colonial house and especially since it sold almost immediately. When we bought our current modern home, which needed a major remodel, we hired Steve to assist us in the design and the decorating of the house. We felt that Steve’s fresh ideas would transition us from a traditional to a modern look. Steve was invaluable in the design and artistic elements of the remodel as well as finding the right furniture, accessories, paint colors, carpets and fabulous window treatments that fit the home perfectly while also working with some of our favorite pieces. While we have worked with several interior designers over the years, Steve’s process was collaborative in understanding what we were trying to achieve, listening to our ideas and helping us create exactly what we wanted within a reasonable budget. The end product that he created has made the difference between an ordinary living space and a space that is a joy for us to live in every day as our home. We have been in our new home for over a year and we still wander around enjoying every element of every room. Steve has also helped us decorate for special occasions and holidays transforming our home to meet the festivities. We would highly recommend Steve Marraffino.”
