“Back in 2014, I started the building my dream home in Nevada and I was very fortunate to hire the services of Interior Motives. I relied heavily on the Interior Motives team (Sam, Joyce and Jennifer) to help me to help me identify all the necessary items required to complete my home including all the furniture. They are very knowledgeable of all the different options required, have a great feel for the Tahoe area and offer top notch professional services. The entire Interior Motives team was a pleasure to work with and I would highly recommend their services to anyone!”

“I hired Talie Jane to recommend and build a plan to upgrade a luxury condo unit that was 9 years old. The thoughtfulness put into the plan was exceptional. The firm made suggestions utilizing some existing items as I requested and incorporated them with brilliant new changes resulting in a perfect meld of old and new. Additionally the firm dealt wonderfully with the spacial limitations of a high rise condo utilizing the existing space in ways I never thought about. Hiring them resulted in a much more enjoyable, functional and comfortable space that fit my budget and needs.”

“We bought our house in Atherton two years ago, and hired Paschal O'Reilly of PORI Interiors to decorate the entire house. He is an absolute dream to work with and I could not recommend him more highly. Not only is he extremely talented with a very good eye for proportion and color, but he also provides an exceptionally high level of customer service. In the past we've worked with a number of designers who can select beautiful pieces, but he's far and away the most organized and detail-oriented designer we've ever worked with. The process of working with him was easier than I could have imagined. Another quality I really admire about Paschal is his ability to mix high and low. We ended up choosing some high quality custom pieces, and also some great looking accent pieces from inexpensive retailers. He's not a design snob, and he can get excited about all beautiful pieces--whether they're expensive or not. Along those lines, he also helped me select fun and inexpensive pieces for my children's bedrooms and he understands that not everything needs to be high-end to look nice and function well. All around I simply couldn't recommend him more highly, and couldn't imagine a more positive working relationship.”

“Jessie was excellent! We had purchased a furnished ski condo that did not meet our functional needs. We were very impressed with how she quickly figured out what was going to work for us and what wasn't. She handled all the details and was willing to do whatever it took to make my life easier (a key reason we hired her!). Everything she had us purchase worked beautifully and my husband thinks I'm a genius for some of her ideas (which I have quietly taken). I'd hire her again in an instant (and I bet I will find a reason to!).”

“Leyla came out for a 2 hour consultation. My intent was to get ideas and colors for a dining room and bathroom. It was totally worth it because Leyla seems to instinctively know design. In her mind's eye she saw a round table where I had been considering to switch out my rectangular dining table for a round one but I hadn't even asked her yet. She pointed to me that of all the pictures I saved for her to see what style attracted me, my current decor did not reflect it, in color or style. Seems like a no brainer and yet I didn't see that until she showed me specifics. She pointed out things like wallpaper and paint meeting without an architectural break was a no no. I never liked the way it looked but didn't know why. She honestly pointed out that my kitchen was too dark, and that I should repaint the dark ceilings. Her manner is direct, honest and cheerfully friendly. I had a long list of questions and she addressed every one satisfactorily whether it was about draperies, wall colors or furnishings. I would hire Leyla again. Sorry no pictures yet. Because I'm acting as my own general contractor and doing a lot of the work myself it is taking longer than anticipated, perhaps I can attach a photo later on.”

“Lisa redesigned our den and kitchen , with space planning, furniture selection, and lighting.fixtures. She found things and had ideas that were just beyond my expectations, a real pro at visualizing and putting fabrics and things together. She worked with several things we wanted to keep and merged it all beautifully. The rooms look amazing now! We are so happy with her work!”
