“Lisa redesigned our den and kitchen , with space planning, furniture selection, and lighting.fixtures. She found things and had ideas that were just beyond my expectations, a real pro at visualizing and putting fabrics and things together. She worked with several things we wanted to keep and merged it all beautifully. The rooms look amazing now! We are so happy with her work!”

“I hired Talie Jane to recommend and build a plan to upgrade a luxury condo unit that was 9 years old. The thoughtfulness put into the plan was exceptional. The firm made suggestions utilizing some existing items as I requested and incorporated them with brilliant new changes resulting in a perfect meld of old and new. Additionally the firm dealt wonderfully with the spacial limitations of a high rise condo utilizing the existing space in ways I never thought about. Hiring them resulted in a much more enjoyable, functional and comfortable space that fit my budget and needs.”

“Leyla came out for a 2 hour consultation. My intent was to get ideas and colors for a dining room and bathroom. It was totally worth it because Leyla seems to instinctively know design. In her mind's eye she saw a round table where I had been considering to switch out my rectangular dining table for a round one but I hadn't even asked her yet. She pointed to me that of all the pictures I saved for her to see what style attracted me, my current decor did not reflect it, in color or style. Seems like a no brainer and yet I didn't see that until she showed me specifics. She pointed out things like wallpaper and paint meeting without an architectural break was a no no. I never liked the way it looked but didn't know why. She honestly pointed out that my kitchen was too dark, and that I should repaint the dark ceilings. Her manner is direct, honest and cheerfully friendly. I had a long list of questions and she addressed every one satisfactorily whether it was about draperies, wall colors or furnishings. I would hire Leyla again. Sorry no pictures yet. Because I'm acting as my own general contractor and doing a lot of the work myself it is taking longer than anticipated, perhaps I can attach a photo later on.”

I relied heavily on the Interior Motives team (Sam, Joyce and Jennifer) to help me to help me identify all the necessary items required to complete my home including all the furniture. They are very knowledgeable of all the different options required, have a great feel for the Tahoe area and offer top notch professional services. “Jessie was excellent! We had purchased a furnished ski condo that did not meet our functional needs. We were very impressed with how she quickly figured out what was going to work for us and what wasn't. She handled all the details and was willing to do whatever it took to make my life easier (a key reason we hired her!). Everything she had us purchase worked beautifully and my husband thinks I'm a genius for some of her ideas (which I have quietly taken). I'd hire her again in an instant (and I bet I will find a reason to!).”

“We absolutely have enjoyed working with Jackie at Venue. I interviewed seven designers and am so thrilled with our choice!Jackie is thorough, pays attention to detail, channels our style perfectly and is easy to work with. She has been responsive to all emails and calls in a timely manner as well. We almost finished with the design phase and couldn't be happier with the design she has come up with; I know that we will love our kitchen! I cook ALL the time and it has been extremely important to me to have a very efficient and organized kitchen. Jackie has been incredibly patient with me as I painstakingly work my way through her ideas. I will update my review with photos and final impression once the project is done but I know we won't be disappointed. I look forward to using Jackie on future projects on my home. Giddy!”
