“I hired Talie Jane to recommend and build a plan to upgrade a luxury condo unit that was 9 years old. The thoughtfulness put into the plan was exceptional. The firm made suggestions utilizing some existing items as I requested and incorporated them with brilliant new changes resulting in a perfect meld of old and new. Additionally the firm dealt wonderfully with the spacial limitations of a high rise condo utilizing the existing space in ways I never thought about. Hiring them resulted in a much more enjoyable, functional and comfortable space that fit my budget and needs.”

“We absolutely have enjoyed working with Jackie at Venue. I interviewed seven designers and am so thrilled with our choice!Jackie is thorough, pays attention to detail, channels our style perfectly and is easy to work with. She has been responsive to all emails and calls in a timely manner as well. We almost finished with the design phase and couldn't be happier with the design she has come up with; I know that we will love our kitchen! I cook ALL the time and it has been extremely important to me to have a very efficient and organized kitchen. Jackie has been incredibly patient with me as I painstakingly work my way through her ideas. I will update my review with photos and final impression once the project is done but I know we won't be disappointed. I look forward to using Jackie on future projects on my home. Giddy!”

“I initially found Chloe through her instagram account @boxwoodavenue. I could tell right away from her photos that she has impeccable taste and would be exactly who I needed to help bring my vision to life. She has helped me with several areas of my home including complete remodels of my kitchen and second bath and I am so thrilled with how they have turned out. She has also helped me with smaller jobs like design and furniture choices in my family room and office areas which have also turned out so beautifully. I love how she presents her designs which include 3-d renderings that make it easier to see how things will look when they are done. I wanted to be involved in the design process and she was so great about including me. When choosing finishes like faucets, tile, furniture, etc. she gave me a choice of 3 different options that would all work beautifully and then I could choose the one that I loved the most. She was so great at sourcing materials for me and even helped me get a quartz slab for the kitchen that I had fallen in love with, but that wasn't available locally. I would absolutely hire Chloe in the future for any of my design needs and would not hesitate to recommend her to friends and family. People constantly remark about how beautiful our house is when they visit and I know its thanks to her!”

“Leyla came out for a 2 hour consultation. My intent was to get ideas and colors for a dining room and bathroom. It was totally worth it because Leyla seems to instinctively know design. In her mind's eye she saw a round table where I had been considering to switch out my rectangular dining table for a round one but I hadn't even asked her yet. She pointed to me that of all the pictures I saved for her to see what style attracted me, my current decor did not reflect it, in color or style. Seems like a no brainer and yet I didn't see that until she showed me specifics. She pointed out things like wallpaper and paint meeting without an architectural break was a no no. I never liked the way it looked but didn't know why. She honestly pointed out that my kitchen was too dark, and that I should repaint the dark ceilings. Her manner is direct, honest and cheerfully friendly. I had a long list of questions and she addressed every one satisfactorily whether it was about draperies, wall colors or furnishings. I would hire Leyla again. Sorry no pictures yet. Because I'm acting as my own general contractor and doing a lot of the work myself it is taking longer than anticipated, perhaps I can attach a photo later on.”

“I have personally known Holly for over 35 years now and have worked with her in the past. She is a lady of class, intelligence and taste. She always brings a fresh eye and innovative ideas to every space! I love her approach to layering pieces, textiles, and paint colors that reflect her clients style and tastes. She's not that typical interior designer out to spend her clients money frivolously, she listens and works with her clients to give them the best "bang for their buck". “Back in 2014, I started the building my dream home in Nevada and I was very fortunate to hire the services of Interior Motives. I relied heavily on the Interior Motives team (Sam, Joyce and Jennifer) to help me to help me identify all the necessary items required to complete my home including all the furniture. They are very knowledgeable of all the different options required, have a great feel for the Tahoe area and offer top notch professional services. The entire Interior Motives team was a pleasure to work with and I would highly recommend their services to anyone!”
