“As a complete neophyte to the world of home renovation, I was faced with so many choices and decisions and had no clue where to start in transforming a gutted 1970s kitchen to something new and contemporary. It was great to work with Barb and gain the assurance she provides during such a huge undertaking and expense. With her help I made choices I could live with and within my budget. Whether helping me select paint colors, meeting me at the tile store overwhelming in options, or showing where to economize and to splurge, Barb was with me step by step so that ultimately everything worked together in the end. Now, I have a kitchen that, even three years later, is still a joy to walk into, to cook in, eat in and relax in. She went beyond the norm to take time with me and help me understand what was happinging and to reflect my realities and preferences in the process. Building on her sense of optimum cabinetry arrangements and how to maximize limited space, she also brought a sense of style, design and color that helped in a big way to realize a kitchen beyond functional and modern to exciting and beautiful. “Canadiana Cabinets saved my kitchen - literally! My husband and I had signed a contract with another company to design, build and install our kitchen renovation and two weeks before the project was to begin we were dumped by them because of internal issues on their end. The designer we had been working with asked if she could send our designs to Bill at Canadiana to see if he could help. With absolutely zero expectations, we said yes. Within a few hours of her contacting Bill, we had a phone call from him and an appt set up for the very next day. After checking out their website, we were tentative, but optimistic that this would be a good meeting. Within moments of meeting Bill and his staff, we knew we were in the right place and in good hands! Bill has grown this business from the ground up, and that is clearly evident when he interacts with his customers. There isn't a part of that shop that he isn't familiar with and he makes it a habit to routinely go out on the floor and inspect the work that his team is doing. The level of customer service from Canadiana Cabinetry has been outstanding throughout the entire process. Any time we've contacted Bill with questions or needing specs for other contractors, he's always responded within a few hours if not immediately. His knowledge of the industry is vast and his passion for what he does clearly runs just as deep. “Detail by Design prepared our kitchen design to renovate and fully update the "cottage" kitchen that existed in the home we bought. I love cooking and entertaining, as well as just relaxing and enjoying my kitchen space. These facts were incorporated in an elegant, functional, and very pleasing kitchen design such that this room has become the new favorite visiting area. Suggestions as to specific design/layout, cabinet features, sink & faucet styles, lighting, and appliances were provided; options discussed; and items sourced. Similarly, the necessary contractors were hired and organized such that installation was smoothly completed. Our experience with Detail by Design was very good and I would readily recommend the company.”

“Anne-Marie was so easy to work with. She did multiple projects for us. The first being helping with the exterior and interior design of our medical office building in 2008-2009. Our most recent project was a complete gut of our 1890's farmhouse, turning it into the masterpiece it is today. She designed all our kitchen cabinets, and other built-ins around the house, including a craft nook for our little girls. Each project she did for us were different styles, yet she was comfortable working with all of them, and able to accommodate all of our needs, wants, and "must haves". Her taste in colors is wonderful, I continue to get compliments on my wall colors in my living room and kitchen. In essence, she was great fun to work with, and willing and able to work with our vision, and not once pressured us to change our mind about what we wanted to suit her ideas.”
