“I had a fairly large border (approx 8m x 5m) which had been neglected for a few years. I wanted to create a low maintenance flower bed and liked the idea of a country garden look. Ben and Paul came round and assessed what was there in terms of position (light/shade), soil and the shrubs which were worth retaining. We also discussed budget. I then received a planting plan with a quotation and commissioned the work. The bed was cleared and planted mid June and I am delighted with the result. I now have a bed which will flower more or less from May to September and will require increasingly less maintenance as it matures. FGD are extremely knowledgeable and gave me advice on other areas of my garden (not areas which will result in work for them). I do have another two areas which do need a makeover and I will certainly commission them to undertake the project.”

“We called on Ruth for help to turn part of our unused south facing driveway into a small garden space. We wanted privacy, but at the same time didn't want to create a bleak barrier to the surrounding neighbours. Ruth's design blew us away and we knew from the offset that she got us. We were lucky enough to be able to do the work ourselves, but Ruth has been with us all the way - troubleshooting effectively when needed and encouraging us with her enthusiasm for the project. “We use Laurence to design our projects as we find he listens to our clients and will design a garden to their needs and budget. He has a good idea of the cost implications and the practical side of how the garden is to be constructed. The drawings he produces are second to none and not only can the client picture the garden we can build within 10mm of the drawing and it will work. He has great vision and we would recommend his skill to anyone undertaking a landscaping project”
