“Edward and his team were fantastic, they designed and implemented our garden to be a perfect weekend get away. They kept to the plan and even went above and beyond when my wife wanted a few things changed. We are now able to sit in our new paradise and relax. “We contracted Jon from Wellington Gardens to design a garden for us, and to then implement that design. The design included the following build elements; a long wooden retaining wall (1.2m down and up), gates, a raised pebble stone area, a large deck (with railings), a sloped concrete path to the house, lights, and clearing & planting. Jon brought a practical approach to the design and build and was a pretty good judge of what was important to us (even if he underestimated my passion for right angles). He was very keen to avoid unnecessary cost for us. In the implementation of the build Jon brought a fantastic team of sub-contractors. Their professionalism and high standards were exceptional! I assume that we paid more overall than we might have if we had contracted and managed the work ourselves. However the quality of interaction and workmanship would almost certainly not have been as high. And it would have been considerably more stress. Through the build Jon was always available, whether at our very regular onsite catch ups, or at the end of a phone. At all times it felt like he was giving the build his full attention - even though we were aware that he had other jobs on the go. So in summary, we were very happy with our engagement with Jon and Wellington Gardens, and would not hesitate to use them again.”

“The Neville Stewart team replaced a retaining wall on my boundary Nov 2017. The planning process was well organised and the plan was clear. Costing and part payment expectations were clearly explained. There were no hidden costs or surprises. The men were courteous to me and my neighbour. They worked hard with up to 5 men on the job and sometimes only 2. They worked together well as a team and I didn't hear any swearing or bullying. They kept the work site tidy and left it cleared every evening. They worked in all weather. They kept me informed on progress and what to expect the next day. Their work is tidy. The wall can be seen from a long way off. I am very pleased with the retaining wall.”

The project has been completed 1 month now and the trees and plants are already showing new growth and look amazing! “We were really happy with the landscape design Luke did for us. He chose great easy care plants (as per our request) and came up with an overall design that we would never have been able to create ourselves. Having a professional like Luke certainly takes the guess work out of landscaping!”
