    “The minute Nichola walked into my drive way I knew we were going to get on perfectly. We both share such a love for gardens and projects. Nichola's ideas are well thought out from the shape / design and the plants ..... I love that she thinks outside the square, that for me was awesome as I like to be different and standout from the run of the mill. We are still working on a number of projects with completion due to be around November this year. I am excited about the last projects we have and have full trust in Nichola that everything is going to turn out Fabulous !”

    “I have used the services of Michelle McDonnell Landscape Design at both our current and previous residential properties In our former property we required a total redesign of the full 900m2 site. The design was completed by Michelle, with her hard landscape subcontractors undertaking the hard landscaping, with us doing the extensive planting. The design was precise, easy to follow and exactly what we wanted. It was structured, easy to maintain and had a good balance of foliage colour, evergreen and decidious planting. The new owner, and the subsequent, say the garden was a significant influencing factor in their decision to purchase the property. At our current residence - set on a 1.5 acre plot, Michelle has undertaken design on different areas including the design of our outdoor room, fish pond and is about to design a mediterranean edible garden area to complement our existing vegetable and berry gardens. Michelle has also provided advice around hard and soft landscaping in other 'rooms' of the garden. Michelle is skilled at translanting our ideas into reality. She listens, applies something with 'extra interest' and realises an obviously professionally designed garden.”

    “We have recently built a nw home in Papamoa. we decided to give Modernscape NZ a call, Stacey came out to visit us, she was amazing great knowledge, enthusiastic and wanted to help us make the most of our space. we decided to get her to draw up a design (which was half the price of others we had in to look) She came up with a beautiful design everything we wanted. Nothing was an issue. LOVED IT!! We are now working with her for the installation. Highly Recomend!!”

Having previously project managed the Bethlehem School Environmental & Sustainable Gardens, Joanne was able to provide first hand experience & knowledge of what would work well for our designated area. Joanne is very passionate about her work, and has such a positive presence which is just what you need when your starting a project from the ground up. Not only did Joanne provide her services for free, she also came up with a great design that was functional and practical too. We now have Students & Teachers who have embraced the gardens and who want to be actively involved in the project from planting to harvesting and lots more too!!
