“Nato Vargas and his team did extensive drainage work for us in 2014. This involved taking down the soil level 4 inches in the back garden, digging and installing several french drains and a sump pump. Since then we've had no water accumulation during subsequent rainy seasons, protecting our foundation. The drainage works perfectly! Nato and team have come back twice, in 2017 and 2020, to repair and stain our back garden fence, resurface the gold fine decomposed granite paths, install a new mail box, replace a garden gate and build a wood shelter for our recology bins. Nato and his team do beautiful work!”

The guys came and did a high quality deck and turf within 4 days. The crew were professional and did a really great job. They paid a lot of attention to the details and respected our property.”

“Mejia Landscaping did an excellent job with the backyard to our house. We completely remodeled the backyard, putting in a new patio, gravel, privacy walls, landscaping and lighting. We relied heavily on Alberto to guide us -- he was patient, extremely knowledgeable, and figured out exactly what we wanted so that the final product matched our vision. Mejia is a wonderful company to work with -- good with design, superlative in execution. Their workers always treated the inside of our house with respect and made sure that materials were transported through the house in such a manner that it did not damage the floors.”

Their ideas matched to ours and there was not a need to get multiple bids, Their work, particularly the backyard and front porch, surpassed our expectations. “Ecopacha is great! We built an ADU on our property which left the landscape all around our house totally trashed. Ecopacha came in and refreshed everything, rerouted our irrigation system, built a deck to connect to the ADU, trimmed our trees, and installed some flagstone. Everything came out great, and was done quickly and for a reasonable cost. We also signed them up for monthly maintenance to keep everything in good condition. I will definitely be recommending them to anyone who needs work done!”

“Jenny created a heavenly serene roof garden high atop Telegraph Hill with views of the Golden Gate Bridge, Coit Tower and the Bay. Though it was a difficult integration of existing structures (I.e.-solar panels, lightwell) she created a seamless passageway and secret-garden like deck with perfectly placed planters, drought/wind tolerant plants and hedges. There were many obstacles in her way (did I mentioned the 4 flights of winding narrow stairs she had to traverse) but she managed to produce a chic yet functionally safe corridor leading to the wind protected seating area for outside enjoyment and entertainment. The lushness of the Ipe wood deck and walkway integrates beautifully with the grays, greens and whites of her sophisticated design. She somehow managed a seating area that allows you to take in the views but grants you total privacy in your own special fragrant garden. Jenny's attention to detail and professional communication style (every call & email answered same day -very very rare-!) created a burden-free project. She came in on time (very tight schedule) and on budget. Frankly, I was surprised at how economical her selections/purchases were but how lush and substantial they looked and performed. I would (and have) without hesitation recommend Jenny and her firm for any landscape design and installation project!”

“I was extremely impressed with Vigorous Landscaping. Joel was very responsive when scheduling the job. He offered great advice on what plants would work well in our Daly City microclimate, be minimal maintenance, and not cost too much. His team redid my backyard in less than a day. They cleared out debris and rocks, put in grass, and planted bushes, flowers, and trees. Our yard is beautiful now! Joel was also reasonably priced and flexible on payment method. I cannot recommend them enough!”
