They know how to select plants that are right for the climate and season and which will create a low-maintenance, lovely Mediterranean feeling garden. “We hired R&R to build a 1,900 sqft deck, outdoor kitchen and seating area. The team was outstanding! I can't say enough great things about these guys. They were clear about what they were going to do, when they were going to do it, and then in the end, it all happened as they said it would. The entire team was fantastic to work with. They came with great ideas and delivered for us every step of the way. If you are looking to remodel your backyard, look no further - this is your team. Choose anyone else at your own risk. Ron and the team are by far the best contractors I've ever worked with. Plus they are great guys on top of it, which makes the process move so much more smoothly. We never had to chase anyone down or wonder when anything was going to happen. They were great communicators throughout the entire project and we absolutely love our new backyard. Highly recommend working with them!”

“Southbay Design & Landscaping redid our backyard over 4 years ago, and have been maintaining it ever since. They are very responsive to any requests we have and are thorough in the maintenance of our yard. I appreciate that they will plant new plants for us if we pick them up and have given advice on what kind of plants work around our yard. They even help out by fixing our sprinklers without us asking (we actually hadn’t realized it was broken but were suspicious of why the grass wasn’t growing well in one spot). We appreciate their professionalism and good work.”

“Nato Vargas and his team did extensive drainage work for us in 2014. This involved taking down the soil level 4 inches in the back garden, digging and installing several french drains and a sump pump. Since then we've had no water accumulation during subsequent rainy seasons, protecting our foundation. The drainage works perfectly! Nato and team have come back twice, in 2017 and 2020, to repair and stain our back garden fence, resurface the gold fine decomposed granite paths, install a new mail box, replace a garden gate and build a wood shelter for our recology bins. Nato and his team do beautiful work!”

“We needed a landscape to make a three generation family happy: a play area, an adult retreat, a gardening area, and night time gathering place. Promised Path completed more than 1200 man hours of landscaping in five and a half weeks installing drainage, a three foot high retaining wall more than 75 feet long, a water and fire feature, front and rear landscaping and lighting, sidewalks and patios made with concrete and pavers, veggie boxes, and sprinkler system. Our landscaping has been described by friends as park-like, peaceful, useful, and tasteful. The landscaping project was carried out in a seamless and timely manner due to awesome professional leadership and planning. The landscape plan was enhanced by an in house horticultural professional who helped us select appropriate plants to get our desired effect. During the project we were continually tweeking the plan with the contractor to render the best outcome. Angel Carrasco, the contractor, is a man of his word who will be a partner in making you a landscape you can be proud of and use day and night.”

“I had Black Diamond do my back yard and they did a tremendous job. They are highly skilled and do what they say when they say they will do it. Everything was done to design and any issues or scheduling conflicts were fixed promptly and communicated to me on the daily. “We had pavers installed in the front and a paver patio was created in our backyard with lighting and a waterfall. We had beautiful trees and bushes put in to compliment our modern design. We have paver walls with lights and a gate to close off the patio. Creative designs did such an amazing job that neighbors have stopped by to admire our landscaping and lighting. Our home looks like it should be showcased in a design magazine. We are so happy that we hired Creative Designs.”
