“My front lawn needed top soil and reseeding. I also asked Encore to mulch and do some plantings. I was very happy with the work. The work was done within budget and on time. I asked the owner to make the decision when selecting the plantings. It was a large area and I didn't know what to buy. It turned out so well. I have already asked Encore to come back and do maintenance to keep it looking so beautiful.”

“Mather Clarke and his guys Justin and Shaun were professional, very knowable but most importantly they had passion for their work like they were creating a piece of art. You can tell they love what they do. We had an idea of what we wanted our yard to look like and they brought it to another level. Every night we would look forward to seeing another step completed and we went with their vision as we trusted them and their work. You can see on their website the before and after picture under the (Prior) name and what an amazing transformation. My family, friends and neighbors comment when they see our yard and say it is the most beautiful yard in the neighborhood. We loved the rocks they used along with the plantings and walls. The new scenery is so colorful and peaceful when we sit out on our swing and look out. The new green grass is so beautiful since we never really had a true lawn due to rocky and bad soil. If you are planning to transform your yard, I would only recommend Clarke Landscaping to do the work. “Our experience with Old Farms was outstanding. They are meticulous in their approach and take great pride in their work. We installed front walkways and new trees/shrubs and as work was about to start, asked Bruce if he could help us to design a backyard landscape to fit with a pool that we had decided to put in. Bruce and his team worked with us to modify the project on the fly - doubling the scope of the work and the time needed. For most firms, this would have been a problem but Bruce is a true professional and his team is exceptional. The design was beautiful and the work was beyond our expectations. Each day we'd throw a curve at Bruce and he'd listen and advise and find ways to make it work. We've hired more than a dozen contractors at our home in Northern CT over the years and honestly, this is the nicest most capable group of people we have ever worked with.”
