“I have been working with Barbara, Perry and Stephanie for years now, and they are experts in the lighting industry! They are extremely helpful and willing to go above and beyond normal expectations to satisfy our Clients. They are up to date with the latest fixtures, for example we recently selected a "fandelier" (a ceiling fan without blades!) with them and our Client is thrilled. Budget is usually a consideration, and not a problem for Perry and Barbara. We like to support local businesses whenever possible, and that is easy to do with the staff at Sound Lighting and Design.”

“Outstanding workmanship and quick turn around...very reasonable price. I also bought quality outdoor lighting to compliment a re-siding of my house, Patricia was so helpful and gave much decorative insight that she totally upgraded our own ideas and vision. Highly recommend this store. Owners are a delight to deal with.”

“This lighting and design store has a huge inventory of products. I purchased 3 kitchen pendant lights and a dining room chandilier. My order came in earlier than expected which was great! . After my pendant lights were hung, i realized they didn't provide enough light. I called the store and asked explained I loved the lights but I didn't realized they were low voltage. I asked if I could purchase a different cylinder or lightbulb? The owner himself told me to return them and pick something that suited my needs better. I offered to pay the restocking fee and chose brighter pendants. This is unheard of! superior customer service at its best. I am excited to hang my new pendants when they arrive. My chandilier is beautiful. I also our chased a bathroom vanity and mirror from their other store, Lite Plus, located in Nanuet, NY. Huge array of lightening, bathroom vanities, and much more.”

“Chris Nichols and Bedford Lighting were a fantastic help getting us best prices and hard-to-find fixtures for our entire house - inside and out. Chris was very thoughtful about each space - letting us know when a certain room might need more light or a different configuration. Chris is tireless, fast responding, and has a great knack for visualizing room lighting before it's installed. Thanks Bedford Lighting!”

“We visited Satco today at their booth at the Strategies in Light / LED Show and they're nice folks who are super knowledgeable about their products. We purchase them locally at Coast Lighting (which also has an online store). We've installed their Blink fixtures in closets and pantries - but they can go nearly anywhere. Only downside is that it is hard to find their Blink line on their website - but you can find it at lighting retailers. Check them out!”

“Naomi helped up select a style and appropriate size chandelier for our dining room. Her knowledge was first rate! She returned phone calls and emails in a timely professional manner. And most importantly, she was generally concerned that not only was it the correct chandelier for our dining room given our style and space, but that we will truly enjoy the chandelier for years to come as we do not plan on ever replacing it! The entire experience with Naomi was an enjoyable one!”

“If I could give them more stars I would. Super high quality finishes and look. But the most important thing to me is how much they stand behind their products. I had a switch blow out ( I am not sure why) without any hesitation they sent me a replacement Touch switch. These switches aren’t cheap by any means but in this case you defienately get what you pay for.”

“Stanley Peck and Old Lights On offer the most beautiful and in some cases rare antique chandeliers, sconces, floor lights etc., that I think I've ever seen in one place. It's hard to choose between them all! He is amazingly helpful also, in some cases he'll even bring several to your home so you can hold them up and get an idea of what works. He's great with ideas as well and prices are much more reasonable than many in NYC.”
