Sailfish Solar
Solar Power Contractors in USA
Average rating: 5 out of 5 stars29 September 2022
“Sailfish Solar walked us through the entire process of installing solar onto our home. They explained the benefits and any issues our property presented. Once our decision was made to move forward, the Sailfish Solar team stayed in communications throughout each step of the process. Installation was less than a normal days work. I worked from home and had no interruptions to my business. We are thrilled with the quality of work provided and are enjoying being closer to energy independence.”

“Very pleased with every aspect of our relationship with Orange County Solar from start to finish. Their customer service is top notch and something we don't find often in this day and age. The quality of workmanship from installation to site cleanup was high. The people who worked on the project onsite were professional, thoughtful and communicative. While on-site they were efficient and effective. The office staff were responsive and provided quality answers and information. Top Notch!”
Green Home Systems

“We were recommended by our friends to check out Green Home Systems, who installed their solar system with them. From the moment we reached out till the installed Panasonic panels it took less than a month! The crew is super knowledgeable and friendly. Our project manager Cat informed us along the way about next steps and developments. The installer was super fast, respectful and clean. After being explained over a Zoom call about the system and the whole process, we received plans tailor for our house, signed the contract and got the solar system installed within a day. Now we are waiting for the city permits to operate the system. Super exiting!!! We are very grateful for the wonderful job GHS did for us. We would refer our family and friends going with this company. We will save a lot of money, especially considering the rising utility rates and we will reduce our carbon footprint as well!”
EnergyPal Solar
Solar Power Contractors in USA
Average rating: 5 out of 5 stars4 July 2021
“We had a great experience using EnergyPal! They did a thorough analysis of our building in order to understand the optimal placement of the solar panels, then gave us several pricing options, outlining the pros/cons of each. Once we decided on the solar provider, they then helped us work out the logistics in order to get the job completed. In the end we're super happy with our solar panels, and feel we had all the information from EnergyPal to make the best decision.”

Forme Solar
Solar Power Contractors in USA
Average rating: 5 out of 5 stars28 February 2020
“After my neighbor installed his solar system and starting raving about it, I thought that I would look into it. After a bit of research, consultations after consultations, and a few quotes I ended up going with Forme Solar Electric. They offered a great price, better than my neighbors! Including the EV car charger for my tesla 3. Once we decided to go with Forme, the process went fairly quickly. I will say it was a bit of a longer process than I thought. There were a few complications that we had to overcome. Dealing with the HOA really extended out the timeframe. My neighbor finished his solar installation in 4 months after he got permission from the HOA, mine only took 4 weeks. It feels nice that I was able to reap the benefits of solar much faster. I'm thrilled with how my system is performing and love checking out the production numbers daily. Was able to save me 3 months on the installation and was cheaper?! Thanks Forme!”
LA Solar Group

“I was tired of getting $200 electric bills in the summer in Los Angeles due to my air conditioning. So, I decided to go solar. I checked out a few companies but they either had mixed reviews or kept calling with sales pressure. I found LA Solar on the Internet. It had many good reviews over a long period of time. This sounded legitimate. They came out and gave me an estimate of about $18,000. I decided to go forward. It was supposed to be finished in 1.5 months but it too closer to 3 months. The price went up a few thousand dollars because I have a metal roof and and part of the roof had to be re-roofed to accommodate the solar panels. But LA Solar cut the revised estimate by $500 by cutting their profit. So, I paid more than the original estimate but they reduced their profit. This was OK since we couldn't put solar panels on a metal roof. The work was finally finished in December 2015. It took so long due to many city inspections. But at least on one occasion, the company didn't show up when the inspector came. This caused a delay. It was supposed to go live around Christmas time but it didn't work. The problem was eventually found to be a defective part. After that was replaced a few days later, the system went live and everything has worked since then. I use an average of 23 kWH per day in my house (I have electric and plug-in hybrid cars). On a sunny day in the spring, I generate 33 kWH from the solar panels. My last few electric bills have been $10 per month (transmission charges). Plus, I will get credit for the excess power that I generate. I am in the black by a cumulative 600 kWH over the last few months! I can't wait to see how much I generate this summer. I feel like the electric company. I am grandfathered in for net metering for the next 20 years. I think you have to contract for solar panels no later than Dec. 2017 to be grandfathered for 20 years in California. I calculated the internal rate of return on my solar panel investment using my cost of about $22,000 and estimated savings for the next 20 years. It is 13% per year! I can't get that in the stock market. Plus, I will always use electricity, so it is a safe investment, assuming my panels work efficiently for the next 20 years. I claimed a 30% federal tax credit on my income tax. Too bad Southern California Edison ran out of rebate money. I highly recommend LA Solar. Except for a few minor glitches, they did a good job, never gave me sales pressure, and were very nice to me on the phone.”
