“I am a degreed interior designer and my husband and I own a remodeling firm in Eden Prairie. We were doing a complete remodel of a lower level in Chanhassen which included a fireplace in the family room, and we designed it to be the focal point of the room. Our clients wanted a unique stone for the face of the fireplace and to face the base of a nearby table. We decided to try a new vendor so we went to Brock White. We selected "Cinnamon Bark" ledge stone which the clients loved as much as we did. The people who helped me in the showroom and all of their customer service personnel were friendly and professional. We directed the stone setters to use the dry stack method (no mortar) and to individually place each one so that there was variance in how far each stone protruded from the wall. Some were flush, some came out further and everything in between. In 2013, we entered this project in a national competition - Professional Remodeler Design Awards and it won a first place Platinum Award. The fireplace wall was such a strong statement that we feel it played a significant role in our winning. Brock White has a broad selection of natural and engineered stone and we plan to specify products from them again.”

“We contacted St Croix Concrete this fall to give us a bid on a front slab and stamped patio. We were very impressed at the knowledge level Dustin had and the great ideas he had for both the patio and slab. Dustin was very easy to work with and was able to fit us into a very tight schedule that we had. He did a great job turning our ideas into reality. The entire work crew was very respectful and left no mess behind. We found the pricing to be very competitive and the quality of the work was top notch and completed on time.”

“We contracted with Asfeld Construction Inc when we built a new home in Deephaven, MN because we had been happy with their work on our previous home. They poured the basement walls and floors, patio, driveway and the two 2-car garage floors. The garage floor was done with a finish, polished glaze, which makes it easy keep clean. We used a colored stamped decorative border on the driveway. But the finished heated concrete basement floors are a showpiece in the home. Ben is an artist when it comes to color and finish of the floors, he applied four colors to blend and make it a marble like finish. Then he sealed the floors and did wax finish to top it off. Be sure to request Ben to do your floors. Barbara Stark”
