Column placement on each side of tub

This might be a dumb question, but do the columns support the load without using a header for the windows? Thanks

    Not a dumb question, at all.
    The columns are strictly for aesthetic value in this instance. There are trusses above the ceiling which sit on the walls, and there are headers above the windows.
