The Quooker boiling water tap doesn't affect the water quality and is perfect for making tea as it is boiling, many of the instant boiling water taps on the market don't actually reach boiling. It is also great for much more, ideal when you are cooking for filling large pans of water or rinsing rice for example. Boiling water is always to hand.
I agree, the Quooker boiling tap is meant for tea, coffee etc.
It the stores water in the tank at 110 degrees Celsius but the water isn't actually boiling because the tank holds the water at this temperature at 2 bar of pressure. So when you release water from the head it is instant freshly boiled water at at least 100 degrees Celsius.
And it's 'party trick' is that you can actually pass your hand under it while boiling water is flowing! This is because the tap head sprays the water rather than it being a stream, this makes it safer, and far safer than a traditional plug in kettle.
