What's the gap between the fridge (cupboards) and back of the chairs. And where is the entrance to the kitchen? Is the entrance in walking towards the back of the chairs? If so, it might possibly get a little busy. I think it looks doable though!!

from cooker to island its 1100 cm ...from fridge to island its 850cm ....from sink to island 850cm .... door is good bit away from fridge on fridge side ....then theres double doors to c=back and dinning area as well

Hmm might be too tight. A cupboard door is going to be 50 or 60cm usually, then the width of a person sat at the table - you won't be able to open the doors when someone is sat there, not easily anyway. Of course you could put the seating the other side, but then you'll just have the same problem in reverse.

You could have the fridge elsewhere, not cheap looking. Then have wall mounted cabinets or shelving on that wall possibly. It would open the room up and will make the space enjoyable, as long as it's not too much of a sacrifice having the fridge elsewhere.

Other option is using the floor mount cupboards to have concealed under counter fridge and freezer separate, and that lost cupboard space (2 units) can be swapped to the wall mount cupboard or shelving on the wall on the right.

You could have a moveable Island but not a fixed one - there's simply not enough room - you wouldn't even be able move the fridge out to replace / clean / repair it !!

When you have a seating area you need even more space to allow access to fridge while people are seated !

So it's not really possible at these sizes.
If you need to sit in this kitchen - you could maybe consider a bar height table ( ikea do them - and dwell I think too ) then at least it's smaller and moveable !

Ok - what about this for an idea ... Keep the island but only with a 660mm top - and mount it on wheel lock casters *- on the rear have a fold down bar top - ie only lift it when you need it ?! That way you still get the benefit of the extra storage - but the flexibility to make it practical too !

* fix all three cabinets and a rear cover board together, sitting on 40mm worktop with castors fixed to the worktop underneath. Locking castors need to only be one on each end.

it is definitely not enough, my suggestion would be to make a half island by extending a unit or two in an L shape to the inner space.

What do u mean ?? L shape. But with island coning out at end ?

yes, either end depending where it is more convenient, as it is now u shape to still have kind of an island extend one end.
