Absolutely, especially if you have children. Go for a charcoal colour and then add a silver mirror or grey lampshade to add fluidity. We had a small square living room and it worked very well. We kept everything minimalist. Good luck!

Hello, we are installing a new two basin vanity and mirror in the bathroom but dont know the best way to light it. The mirror willl have an led light in the frame but that wont be enough so dont know weather to have a wall light above it or down lights above the sinks?

How about something like the below up and down wall lights in a black/dark charcoal. Up and down beams can be adjusted and when lit at night, they will show off beautifully the linear cladding.

What is the best kind of lighting for a large living/dining room with a gabled/vaulted ceiling? I am thinking of lights at the top of the walls facing up flooding the ceiling so as to reflect downwards?
