I love all your ideas....bu as we currently have a new + good bin in there already, i don't want to spend another $100+ on another..and this is only a temporary solution...for the nxt few years..as the kitchen won't last much longer. I already have my 'kitchen' cleaning products under my sink..which is unfortunately a separate cupboard to my bin. We couldn't fit the bin under the sink! Prob not much point me taking the cleaning stuff out of my laundry to put in the bin cupboard!! I think i might put some plywood up beside the bin to keep one side of the cupboard separate! That way i have at least 1/2 cupboard of useful space!!

You are so right white is never out of fashion. I would set your budget and then look at your options. If you plan to stay in the house for many years then spend to the top of your budget (if that is going to give you a life time of pleasure), if you plan on being at the home for only a short time / few years then I would go mid range so it looks lovely, will have good resale value but you can invest your well earned money to go towards something else as well. Obviously Marble / Granite is the top of the range but there are so many cheaper and very attractive options these days that look just as good.

Can I have some feedback on the different dryers - heat pump and condenser - and the best brands We are a family of 7 living in Wellington NZ with plenty of wet weather!

I'd love your advice - Where would be the best placement of my appliances, sink, oven etc? I would love to have my sink under the window - do you think it could work?
