need help with living room furniture
i ordered 2 couches for my living room. one is a light grey and another a deep blue -
the idea was to pull them in together using pillows, throws and accent chairs. but now i'm having major doubts that they can work together. i would really appreciate input on this. i still have a couple of days to change the order before the furniture arrives.

Comments (5)For the fireplace inserts go ahead and do the green order a second set of panels that you store that are more neutral. In 10 years or five years you may not like the green anymore. It's possible you won't have access to different colored panels at that time. As for the color I like the ideas of going into those silvers it would coordinate very well with your blue couch and it will pull the blues out of the curtain panels. For the wall coloring use the warm golden color in the drape. There is one piece of the flower that has this color and it will balance the weight of a dark couch. Comments (5)A few simple steps can give your room a lot more vibe! Try pairing the drapes with sheer curtains, that will give the window more depth. The tv wall could be your accent wall, a dark blue would actually work very well. If the TV has backing, I would hang it on the wall, a few inches above the furniture piece. The two frames above the white dresser should go below the wall clock. Instead, a large art piece (about the length of the dresser) would complement that wall much better. I would also replace the coffee table with a rectangular, heavier glass and metal table, placed in the center. Also pillows. Comments (2)Why don't you live in the house for a while and get a feel for things. The curtains are bright but if they are still good quality / newish it would be a very expensive exercise to replace them (I have just spent a few thousand just on three rooms), you can always add a few red cushions or a red toned throw over your existing couch or a rug with a red tones in to it, to tone the red down, if required. Repainting the walls is cheaper than replacing curtains and a piece of art with red tones may also help. As far as furniture is concerned it would depend on what you like style wise. 8 years agoThere are so many options if you have the space but not knowing the size of your room it's hard to say what you should do with your time restraint.
If you really like the look of the inspiration picture below then by all means get two navy sofas.
If your not certain and can change your order then just purchase the one navy sofa and take your time finding just the right chairs to compliment them.
