Hi There, Not sure if you are still looking for art/canvas for your space, but I'd thought id share my work with you. I'm a contemporary Aboriginal Artist located in Newcastle NSW. My works have been commissioned for a number of personal and commercial spaces including John Hunter Hospital, OPSM (Luxottica) Australia, St Vincents Hospital Sydney and Taronga Zoo, to name a few. My artworks have also won a number of prizes including Singleton Art Prize, OneSight Global Ray-Ban Wayfarer Indigenous design which saw my artwork produced on Ray-Ban Wayfarers and Wild at Taronga where I painted a full size rhino. The following artwork is a 2 panel piece and tells the story of our nations’ journey and the coming together and sharing of culture. Large red meeting circles, central within the design, are connected reflecting unity and reconciliation across cultural diversity. The continuous unbroken smaller circles woven throughout the piece are symbolic of community, Government and Corporate and the commitment to work together around shared vision to create better futures for our children. Linked to together the circles are also representative of the inevitable flow of future generations and a passing on of the baton to our youth. Huge artworks and mirrors that are leaning would still have to be attached at the top somehow, wouldn't they?? Surely they would be dangerous otherwise, especially in areas prone to earthquakes (even small ones) and in homes with young children. Imagine something that size falling onto someone!

Very , very nicely done , and clever too ! It looks like you have used the existing windows and joinery , added those white gloss pillar 'covers' to modernise the whole look , and the lattice centre piece not only adds interest , but would also add light around the front door too . It also looks like you have added a garage on the right hand side , all in the same style to tie it all in . Like Courtenay , I love the entrance , although just personally , I would have done the gate in a slightly darker stain -- it looks a bit light ( to me ) in comparison with the shingles , and the painted brick -- especially as the gate will fade , the bricks not so much . Really , my only 'picky' bit . Well , apart from the copy writer , who has a heading about a Hamilton makeover , then talks about Tauranga architects and Tauranga's Fraser Street haha -- a small error , but why ?

My inclination is something with colour and with a connection to elements already in the room. A dark timber frame and a deep coloured strong image, wide enough to link across the chairs and not seem squeezed between them. Here's a random red-toned image from the internet that I have stretched into a dark wood frame. The hues link to the cushions without matching tightly and add richness and warmth.
