Is there a plant similar to this that would do well in full shade?

Unfortunately, nothing as floriferous and colorful as a landscape rose will do well in shade, but you still have some good options. Take a look at abelia, kerria (it's bright yellow, but one of the best bloomers for shade), mountain laurel, aronia, and arrowwood viburnum.

Looks just like my carpet rose 'Autumn'. I have it on the north side 5 foot away from the house so it gets sun and does very nice for me.
