We painted our girls room a light aqua color, it looks great with pink, yellow and blue. I always like a lighter wall and pop of color for kids rooms because I feel like they spend so much time in there playing you want them to have a happy space.

why not a lovely blush pink - this will allow you lots of light and still add a rosy glow... (it works with greys, browns, and whites)

How old is the little girl ?! They grow up so fast !! Has she actually requested pink ?! Is she old enough to pic her favourite out of a selection that you have chosen first ?!

I think soft yellow walls, aqua and white fabrics, and accents of dark raspberry would be nice for a young girl. If the little lady likes it!
