Are those Eze-Breeze Windows?

We're considering using them for a room very similar in the Chicago area... have you ever heated this room for special occasions? And do the windows hold any heat, or is it a lost cause?
Thank you!

Hi there. Thanks for your question. These windows are indeed Eze-Breeze. While we do find that they greatly decrease the wind and the dirt/pollen that gets into an enclosed porch, the windows do not hold heat in very well. The sun will heat up the area and the heat will stay in, but using a space heater could be a big waste of energy. These homeowners wanted a bit of protection from the winter elements while using their hot tub, which is behind the beverage area, Hope that helps! Jennifer

Hi, We have found that the Eze-Breeze windows are about as thermally efficient as single pane glass. They are made for a 3 season application. What we have heard from homeowners is that with a good space heater or fireplace the room can be used in Northern climates from about early spring to late fall. If you want more information, contact us. We sell the windows factory direct to homeowners accross the USA.
