The wood floor is walnut, sanded and stained on site. We wanted clean lines and a warm contemporary feeling yet the owner loved "Old World" materials. The walnut flooring really embodies that idea. It is beautiful and has lots of character and depth.

Black Walnut is incredibly beautiful. How did your finisher handle the bevels with a site finished floor? Sounds very tricky.
