I'd like to suggest that the most important thing here is more about who is using the room. If It's a child's bedroom use lovely children's curtains - there's so much around and any pattern could pick up the wall and floor colours. If a guest room and not used often I'd suggest a beautiful velvet or good quality Linen and forbid the little ones from going in to that room!!!!!! alternately a blind attached at floor level could be raised or lowered so the view is still there but with privacy from waist height perhaps. What colour ? What about some sort of apricot , to go with the pear of cushions ? hahaha . . . . . . . . . . . . Maybe an Apple tablet , strawberry curtains , a banana lounge , but I don't know how to finish it off , something to be the cherry on top ? Oh , I know , cream walls . . . . . . . . .

The roof will be a dark grey/charcoal colour. The gutters are an off white colour, windows are white and we have cream brick all the way around. I am unsure what colour to paint it. I want to keep away from green because my house is surrounded by a sea of green. My husband thinks a light grey along with a new timber front door.
