There are tons of papers available that would go with your midcentury home. Many people tire of a paper quicker than they are ready to redecorate and they can also look dated in a couple of years. Metallic papers were big im midcentury...perhaps a metallic silver paper? Are you also considering paint? You can get it in so many textures and a blue wall to match the blue in your loveseat would be lovely with some midcentury art and sculpture, or photographs on it. A mirrored wall with or without art or sculpture would also work with midcentury. These treatments are easier to adapt should you wish to change the look slightly from time to time. I would suggest replacing your stairrail with chrome or acrylic if that is in the budget...see how well the loveseat frame looks with the fabric? Oh so cool you noticed that we're trying to achieve a french country/industrial look or did we write that somewhere? I've attached some other photos of a bedroom and the foyer (of those we've taken so far), but are absolutely open to suggestions on a "beachy" feel as well or instead of. Although because its a beach house we don't want to go over board on expense and hence keeping what we already have, and just adding personality to it, if you get what we mean. You never know what you will find and it is very, very fun to look and learn about the incredible things people fabricate. One nice item that comes to mind that I have seen on Etsy are "Beach blankets". I did not know about them because, I've never lived by water or the beach but, apparently if you live by water you always want a big, light weight fabric to use to sit on or to stretch on poles to shield you from too, much sun. I f there was a big "beach blanker" that you liked enough, it could be in your room as an extra blanket, throw or as a window covering perhaps. Maybe this is kind of an exotic option for you at your age but, I think its never too, soon to attune ourselves to culture and the arts and interesting ideas from across the world. Also, on Etsy (not bedding) are wall murals. My client's son Max wanted to feel part of the woods so, I found and he and his dad installed an incredible mural. So, that might be fun for you to explore too. I am showing the one they picked here. We did not stick to any kind of bedding collection.
