Help choosing roof colour!
Comments (0)We currently have clay tiles in a teracotta colour which are original from 1940s. We are replacing our roof with a metal tile roof and can't decide on a colour. We are looking at either a teracotta colour or ebony/dark grey. We are in a bushy area in New Zealand. We are looking at leaving the window trims and the gable white but would look at painting the pop up which is currently a dark red stain to match the new roof. Any suggestions welcome! Thanks....See Morere roofing from 10 degree angle to 45 degrees - cost? 9metre x 16 metr
Comments (0)Debating replacing a 10 degree roof with a 45 degree roof to optomise going off the grid. Building is 9 metres wide [includes 500 eaves] by 12 metres long. We would increase the length to 16 metres to cover an existing deck with ancient corrugated plastic roof. Question is cost. We have the room to build the roof on site and crane into place otherwise make it offsite. We would need to put a couple of windows in length to give character. We would use dark grey ribbed coloursteel ideally and reclad south and west walls with the same material. Does anyone out there have an opinion?...See MoreCracking noise / popping noise from roof and walls
