Need help with my living room.
Comments (6)It's a rental so buy something that you can take with you that will work in your next home. Just stay with green and white. You may not be able to change the panels, but you could add to them where it can't be seen from the outside. Add white to the outer side of the blue panels. Then get a navy and white throw pillow for the accent on the white sofa....See MoreIs my beach house too blue
Comments (56)It's refreshing to see nautical, navy BLUE. Everyone is saying the same thing for the most part - just introduce another color, definitely bright (yellow or orange IMO) and it will make it more current. What I really like is how your style will withstand the test of time - and with minor updates now and then it will always look fresh and "current"....See MoreNew TV room needs ideas
Comments (4)I would move the two chairs against the wall with the table between for a "side" seating area... which can still see the t.v. (needs some baskets or something under that table... a trunk maybe...to bulk it up). Then make an L shape with the other couch/loveseat that you have. You also have great storage along the tv wall but it's kind of bland... punch it up with a color along the back of the bookcases or a funky wallpaper. Drapes for a punch of color with some other accessories and you'll have a gorgeous room. It also looks like you have an ottoman.... put a tray on top and use it as a coffe table for a while....See MoreHelp! I think i made a mistake with my splash back colour!
Comments (46)The blue is awesome (grey is too trendy)! The reason it stands out to you is perhaps because it's the only real colour there. Bring in the blue in a window treatment, a small appliance that sits on the counter, a pretty tray or area rug. Also, it is more appealing often if there are more than 2 colours - so right now you have a white and blue colour scheme - bring in red or orange or fushia - something from the other side of the spectrum (like you did with the yellow flowers but in a more permanent way)!...See MoreJonathan
