Help, I have this awkward space under my stairs (see second photo) that I need to do something with. As our house was built in the 70s I assume it was a garden or fish pond area originally. The space measures 3m wide by approx 1.4m deep (at its narrowest point under the stairs) unfortunately it is only 1.45m high so we can't stand up in there. I have included a photo of the whole front entrance so you can see that the front door is around the corner to the stairs. I also have a photo from the top looking down and would love your thoughts on the timber and black - should this be changed? The walls are all painted black white.
