Hi Chopins! Thank you for your interest in our amazing comforter!

The fill is sourced from Eastern Europe and it is the best quality! This particular down is a 850 Fill power which means that at least 90% of the mix is 100% Down. Up to 10% can be feathers, but it’s not the feathers that you think of (like those in a decorative pillow insert) - they are very small and you can't feel the quill. This down is amazing and you won't be disappointed with the feel of the comforter. This one is definitely one of my favorites!

Thank you for the information! I ordered the duvet it is lovely, but looks to be too warm for LA. Do you have a lighter one available?

Hi Chopins - this is a very light comforter - as the fabric is light and the down is a high fill power. It will be warm thought - It is going to look better in a duvet insert and be MUCH fluffier and look amazing on the bed versus a summer weight comforter. Here is a link to one of our down comforters that comes in summer weight - https://www.houzz.com/products/700-fill-power-white-goose-down-cotton-sateen-comforter-full-queen-summer-weig-prvw-vr~100922110
