Bathrooms Design Dilemma

Bathroom layout options

We're building a new house and I'm having dilemmas about the bathroom layout. Here are a couple of options but wondering if there's any alternatives that can be suggested? Measures 2.9 X 2.9m

-I want to have easy access to towel rail from the shower

Don't want the toilet to be the first thing you see waking in

i prefer a separate toilet so the bathroom could be used by more than one person at a time

We've got a separate toilet just down the hall so want to have another in the bathroom.

Third vote for getting a professional involved, but i'll still offer my layman's suggestion given that you're just soliciting general ideas at this point. If it was my space, I'd switch the bathroom and the laundry room around, keeping just one of the walls currently enclosing the toilet. Its hard to estimate precise measurements from the drawing, so it may not be feasible, but here's what i mean

If you can narrow the linen cupboard, then you do do a similar layout to that GB has shown but with a changed door swing, swap the basin and WC, putting the WC on the wall beside the door so the WC is concealed behind the door.

I would choose the first option. I also do not like the view of a toilet when entering room.

glad to learn you have a separate toilet but thinking about where you would stand on the wet floor getting out of the shower i would rotate the toilet behind the door and stand between the shower and the toilet so standing space in front of the vanity and toilet is dry and i've shown some towel rails and toilet roll locations

and if the vanity is away from the wall in the corner the few cms shown at "xx" makes an ideal space to hang a hairdryer

I think swapping the shower with the vanity would be a good idea?
