Bathroom renovation cost
Comments (0)Hey guys - im wanting to renovate my small bathroom, its around 56 sqft, replacement of standard shower over bath, single vanity and toilet, tile floor and tiled wall just within shower/bath alcove. No changes to plumbing location. Have a quote for $9500 just for labour and rough materials (I have purchased all fixtures, finishings etc for a total of 3k), is that labour quote reasonable? Nothing is tricky, ie; standard stacked tile pattern etc. Im in Oakland, CA, so I imagine that effects the price. Any advice would be massivly appreciated! Thanks!...See MoreBathroom & Laundry Renovation - Before & After
Comments (0)This project required a small renovation, where my clients wanted to create something simple and light, without costing a fortune. In the guest bathroom we were able to leave the plumbing as is and worked on replacing the WC, Shower and Vanity. In the laundry the area in the room behind the counter, storage area was pushed back allowing for a larger space within the narrow room. A new door was put in and a new window. Before: After: This extension of space allowed for the guest bathroom to be extended out as well to allow for a larger vanity and all round larger and more accommodating space. The counter top in the laundry is bamboo, the simple black tiles above and perhaps later down the clients will put up cupboards and shelving as suggested. Before: After: The light grey ceramic tiles on the floor replaced the dark ones that made the space feel small and cramped. The white on the walls and new lighting give a totally different feel to the room and makes it a far more welcoming space to work in. Check entire project here!...See MoreSmall kitchen? No problem…..

Comments (0)Hi All, I am new to this forum & this is my first home in a month. I am planning to renovate the kitchen after moved in. Please let me know your ideas & expertise how much it cost & what kind of design suits this. (i am on a strict budget), possible DYI(except plumbing & electrical) & if any modification in structure(like if we removing the patio & removing that small piece of wall dividing kitchen) do we need council approvals? please share your thoughts. Main concerns are > Fridge location is not connected to the kitchen > Fridge & laundry in the same room & in the backside entrance. > There is a wall between the kitchen & fridge. > there is a Gap in the Kitchen > cupboard is not fitting when look. Expectation: The fridge & dishwasher should be in the kitchen. Re-alter or install new cabinets required.(L or U share) Is the island is possible? if so will the budget go high. Material for top either stone without resin. Tiles on the wall...See Morebigreader
