A 1977 Kitchen upgraded. The old dinette room was incorporated into the new kitchen to add another approximately 50 square feet to double the size.

I would replace fake flowers on counter with a bowl of real fruit. Also, remove everything off of the fridge door. You have done a wonderful job!

Wow that is SOME reno, too modern for my taste but impressive and kudos for the lovely pale blue glass backsplash - congrats and enjoy. ( first to say they preferred the rustic charm of "before" gets custard pie in face ;p )

Michelle and Jeremy live in a 3-bedroom weatherboard house built in the 90’s, and was very much still stuck in the 90’s! Michelle is a great baker, often whipping something up on request; she juggles working in an accounting office and being a mum, while Jeremy works in IT. They are famous for their potluck dinners and often having BBQ’s into the colder months. Our expert designer Mark, moved the existing fridge location from the middle of the room to a wall cavity, instantly creating a better flow and opening up the kitchen. With a splash of colour on the back wall which wrapped around to the side wall, it gave the whole room a fresh feeling in keeping with the Hamptons look the couple were after. This stunning kitchen has Snowdrift White Cabinetry and a Pewter laminate bench top. The bar back is a vinyl wrapped tongue and groove patterned panel giving the kitchen a stately Hampton's look. What a light, bright kitchen, and I'll always love cream colored cabinets - but I also love red, and it's so nice how you used that for pops of color. It's clear you cook (said one to another!) and I'm sure you are enjoying all that extra counter space, not to mention the natural light from the 2nd window you gained. I do like your pullout rack for oils and seasonings to use as you prep, the double door pantry (said with some envy, LOL!), and your KA lift - those things are so heavy! Enjoy!

Nice update! Did you consider an island for added counter space? Maybe the space isn't large enough, but it is difficult to tell from the photos. Either way, you should be happy with the results!

Awesome job - looks similar to our floorplan! Do you have a dining room or is the table in the kitchen your main eating space?

We transformed the "Sitting Room" into a formal dining room for a larger eating space for when family comes over.
as for the island in the kitchen, we would have loved to, but the width was too narrow for ADA regulations.
