Pool Fencing Aluminium vs Semi glass frame

I need advise we are building a pool and deck to connect to existing deck. We currently have aluminium with wood posts and handrail around house. The new deck will connect to existing deck on the side of the house. We really want glass fencing but aren’t to sure if it will separate the area from the house. I have enclosed photos and will appreciate your advise.

We find fully frameless glass fencing the most popular choice. However it is more expensive than aluminium. We rarely use semi-frameless - generally only if the additional strength of posts is required or the client specifically likes it or is matching existing pool fencing.

As far as separation from the house - every pool fence in Australia must comply with the regulations for safety. So there is no doubt it will physically separate the pool from house.

It looks like you have a large garden area surrounding the pool area. Frameless glass will ensure you can see all of your beautiful garden as well as the pool area. Clear visibility is also an additional safety benefit of glass.

We'd recommend frameless glass unless cost was an issue.
