Identify scented tree

Scent is stronger at dusk and in the morning. Bees are attracted to it in large amounts so it sounds like a beehive in the mornings

    Could be from the osmanthus family, the perfume is fabulous, incredibly heady, as you said the bees adore it, there is a tree at the Geellong botanic gardens that the perfume bowls you over, flowers are usually white or yellow, maybe take a piece to your local nursery for identification
