Hello Dezine, I'm not sure if you're already aware but just wanted to offer some advice regarding purchasing handles from US...

Australian joiners use the standard metric-system 32 spacing for screw centres, so their jigs wont fit to the US inches system. Each handle would need to be fitted individually.

This will cause another issue down the line if you're ever wanting to replace them.

Have you seen these before?...

You're very welcome. These handles are Chrome-plated (also available in Satin Chrome) over die-cast zinc. Chrome is a 'stable' finish not prone to chipping.
