Weatherboard Exterior Colour?
Comments (3)Googled the karaka tone - consider resene ash - closest to a creamy white when you see it on the exterior. Depending on your house style, (more cottage like) I'd contrast the karaka green with a near white tone rather than a khaki tone. More modern, more khaki....See MoreSeriously stuck on exterior paint colours
Comments (8)Blue gray window frames match the funky roof. The cedar is diametrically opposite on the color wheel as a orange tone. Usually the browner grays (sort of the light shade now on the stucco) do better with cedar to say modern, but since you have the blue gray, allow me to suggest that you just go as dark gray as you can - nearly charcoal on all the weatherboard. If you are in a high heat area (palms might or might not be - that might be the ocean on the horizon which might me an onshore breeze all the time) then you want a white. Not a blue-white but a warm white - bm maritime white is a good choice. With the cedar and the two blue-blue-gray elements, you need neutral without tone....See MoreColours, colours, colours... exterior re-paint option

Comments (0)Hi all ! New to this forum so any help would be appreciated House is only around 10 years old but we are going to repaint Half the house is weatherboard , and half plaster (as per photos) We are wanting to go with greys , we are thinking darker grey weather board and lighter plaster ? The aluminium joinery is a light grey (almost exact to Dulux Timeless grey) We are struggling to get the right theme or idea on what we should do We were thinking Dulux Taihape for weather board , but unsure what to do with the plaster.. Ideas or opinions much appreciated ! (Sorry about quality of photos , I ran outside in the rain just to post this)...See MoreCee
